Description: Offered is this lot of eight small antique books from the Little Leather Library "Redcroft" Edition, by various authors. Included are: 1) "at the end of the passage and mutiny of the Mavericks Rudyard Kipling 2) The Man without a country Edward Everett Hale 3) Short Stories 4) the man who was and other short stories Rudyard Kipling; 5) dreams live Schreiner 6) The phantom of rickshaw Rudyard Kipling 7) "The Man Without a Country", by Edward Everett Hale and 8) the happy prince by Wilde . Although none show a publishing date, this series of books was produced from approx. 1916 to 1923. All have green embossed flexible and presumably leather covers. Each book is approx. 4" x 3". All are in good condition overall. The covers no major tears, but some may have small tears. One has some damage to several pages looks like a gouge.They all have some degree of yellow; not sure if this is due to aging or was originally there and most of the covers curve over the long open end. There is some minor surface wear. I see no missing pages or pages with major tears but there may be a page or two with very short edge tears. Most the pages are well-attached to the covers but some are not. Except short stories which is separated from its binder. The first and last pages have browned heavily (in some cases several pages in the front and back) but the rest of the pages have only slight browning and are generally clean and clear. I see no writing in any of the books. Please view all photos to verify the condition and the details.
