Description: Beautiful tunic style casual lounge dress made in the Philippines in the 1960's. These were often sold by Hawaiian boutiques to tourists. This one is in very good shape with a few faint light brown marks visible under high light - very difficult to photograph (see close-ups). The dress is a tunic design with a mandarin collar, 16" side slits & wide 3/4 sleeves. The front of the dress is liberally covered with intricate machine embroidered pastel flowers leaves & geometric shapes. Made out of a comfortable poly/cotton mix fabric, these dresses were designed for sultry climates.Vintage size 16, estimate modern size MEDIUM.
