Description: 20 GA SKB Side by Side Butt Stock – Model 385 This is an original English grip butt stock for a 20ga SKB Model 385 Side by Side This is a standard grade American Walnut stock. The stock is hand checkered and fitted with a Pachmayr Old English pad (size 0.6 inch). This has a High Gloss Polyurethane finish. There are no structural cracks in the wood. This is a factory stock that has not been mounted to a receiver. The stock may have some minor scratches or other small indentations from storage or shipping. The 2004 SKB catalog gives the following stock dimensions: ENGLISH STRAIGHT GRIP STOCK Length of Pull ( LOP) = 14 1/8” Drop at Comb ( DAC) = 1 ½” Drop at Heel ( DAH) = 2 5/8” This stock will fit the SKB Model 385 and the Ithaca period Model 280 due to the similar style trigger guards used in both production periods. It will require fitting by a qualified gunsmith to insure proper inletting and engagement around the entire receiver and the long trigger guard return.
