Description: This auction is for a Lucent (Symmetricom/Datum) Dual Frequency Standard with one RFTG-m-Rb LPRO based Rubidium Module and one RFTG-m-XO GPS Disciplined Low Phase Noise Quartz Oscillator . This system is in excellent physical and electrical condition. Please refer to the listing photos which show both units operating normally including an Allan Deviation Plot. The default is the Rb unit Online (locked) disconnecting the Rb/XO interface cable forces the OX unit Online (GPS unit locked). Somewhat strange the way these are mounted "staggered" with the top RB unit forward and the lower XO unit set back in the shelf. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Included: One - RFTG-m-Rb KS-24019 L105B CC 407854207 module is based on an internal 10MHz LPRO Rubidium Oscillator. The RFTG-m-Rd has two 10MHz outputs (one goes to the rft-m-XO 10MHz Input) and one 15MHz output. One - RFTG-m-XO KS-24019 L106C 408140366 module is based on an Oncore GPS disciplined 10MHz Low Phase Noise Quartz.The RFTG-m-XO has one 10MHz input and one 15MHz output. One - Andrews 26dB GPS Antenna. Factory interconnect cables. One aftermarket power supply. These Lucent systems are popular because they are based on 10 MHz oscillators and most purchasers would prefer all 10MHz outputs. In response after market user have posted a number of articles on the internet detailing various ways to remove/modify the internal electronics to convert the 15MHz to 10MHz.Also since the RFG-m-RB and RFG-m-XO use the same board an additional 10MHz output can be added to the XO unit by simply populating the circuit board to match the output on the RB version. So although there is not much manufacturer information on these there are a wealth of other online resources documenting modifications on these and other similar RFTG variants providing details on modifying them into great low phase noise 10MHz bench frequency standards.
