LUCILLE BALL magazine photo file with over 25 photos Desi Arnaz I Love Lucy

Description: This is an original photo file from the library of a now defunct entertainment magazine. It features photos from throughout Lucille Ball's historic career, from the I Love Lucy days to the her death. They come housed in the magazine's original library archive folder, which was stamped "Deceased" after Ball's death in 1989. Some are glossy press photos sent out by TV networks and many of the images are Associated Press wire photos. Many were sent out following Balls death. Many of these AP images have multiple copies stapled together, representing the different cyan, magenta, yellow and black hues that were needed for printing back then. These images were transmitted electronically and then printed out on special thermal printers in the newsroom. Like all AP photos of this ilk, they have a sepia tone to them that converts to a lovely black and white when scanned.
