Description: Lynn Haney has been handcrafting collectible, heirloom-quality Santas since 1987. Beginning with one simple design as a hobby over 30 years ago, the entire Santa Collection now boasts over 700 original designs – each signed by the artist himself!The Santas are inspired from Lynn’s own childhood memories, as well as from folk art from Hungary, India, and Germany. His studio consisting of over 25 artists and craftsmen, was located in Lubbock, Texas. Lynn is quick to share the credit and praise for his designs with each of the talented craftsmen who was an integral part of the creative process.Unfortunately, as of January 2017, Lynn had decided to take a “Santa Sabbatical” after 30 years of designing and producing his beloved Santas and was such a disappointment to his devoted collector's.This beautiful Lynn Haney "Father Christmas & His Partridge" Santa is dated 1999 is style #1969 and signed by Lynn Haney on its wooden base.This Lynn Haney "Father Christmas and his Partridge" is so beautifully designed with an incredible amount of attention made to create such detail. This Santa has a beautiful, sweet face with blue eyes, rosy cheeks and a full fluffy beard. He is wearing a red elegant, quilted velvet robe trimmed with gold embroidery on his Santa Cap, waist, cuff, hemline, gold tassels hanging at his waist, green velvet pants and black boots. In his right hand he is carrying a large tree filled with green pears, berries and a partridge adored with gold small stars and gold garland., In addition, he also in his right hand he has hanging 2 beautifully wrapped gold gifts. In his left hand he is carrying a wreath with red berries, a pear and a list with a bow saying, " And on the first day - A Partridge in a pear tree." He is carrying on his back a beautifully wrapped large gold present for someone who has been very good throughout the year!!! I have tried to the best of my ability to give you as much information as possible in regard to this beautiful Santa.
