When you first open the package, you will see three parts: A half dollar, a Mexican centavo and a bang ring. To expose the insert, follow the instructions provided to separate the shell and insert using the bang ring. The insert is made to lock in place so that the half dollar will look like a regular coin and can be handled by the spectators without detection. Many effects involve nesting the half dollar shell and insert together, causing the centavo to vanish. Be sure to squeeze the gimmicked shell/insert before handing it to a spectator for examination.
