This is a map of Asia Minor published circa 1559 in Cosmographia and features hand coloring of the map that takes up roughly 2/3 is one side of a page. The reserve side is all text. Text is in Latin. Overall in good - condition. Moderate browning particularly towards the edges. Chipping at edges. Minor soiling and light brown stains at edges. Other small dings here and there. A solid example of this important map and ready to be framed and hung. Sheet with map measures approximately 8.5 x 13 inches including the boarder area. Antique hand coloring.
