Type: A very interesting machine-made variety; European vintage Sparkler marbles were distributed in the 50's and 60's in both Germany and France. They have a u-shaped seam with 'eyelash' gather creases. They typically share a cup-like or lobed form with an icy clear base, floating filaments, misty structures and multicoloured combinations; and have a widely varied, highly collectible and enjoyable character. These attractive marbles were very popular when they were made, and are becoming harder to obtain over time.
