Description: Here is a beautiful Marblehead Pottery decorated canted form vase with a deeply incised floral design of red centered green flowers, dark blue leaves and stems against a matte speckled blue ground. The interior is a light blue. It measures about 3 5/8 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, just some small glaze misses on the flowers. Marked with the firm's die-stamped MP and ship mark. The pottery was founded in Massachusetts by Dr Herbert Hall, run by Arthur Baggs, and dates to about 1915. A fine piece of New England Arts & Crafts art pottery.
