This "pocket axe" has a spring loaded Safety gaurd that folds right down into the handle. Stamped No.2 on the axe head, and on the other side stamped with the Master Craftsman name Tom George. "Marbles Gladstone, Mich., U.S.A.". All letters, symbols,and numbers are bold and legible. This custom Safety axe comes with an custom brown leather sheath in very good new condition. The sheath has its original stitching and is pliable. The axe head does have some very fine oxidation lines on the blade that we believe the new owner could easily buff out if they so choose. This is a very solid and tight Marbles Safety Axe. Any new owner would be very proud to own this early model Marbles Safety Axe.
