Description: MASSIVE antique hammered wrought iron door knocker! Has original nut and washer (note the washer is not perfectly round.Not sure of the exact age of it. Looks very old and well used. Purchased in the Detroit area, so a good chance that it might have been imported during the late 1800's or early 1900's when the automotive magnets were building their mansions and bringing materials and antiques over from Europe.Very heavy. I do have a steel display that it was purchased with. HOWEVER, it weighs over 22 lbs and might be prohibitive to ship that extra weight. So it is being sold without the mount. I have no issues sending it to you if you pay the cost of shipping after the sale (as I am not looking to get extra money for it).
