Description: For sale is an Antique Primitive 18th to to early 19th century massive size hand hewn Wooden trencher/centerpiece. It is carved from one single piece of wood, great primitive hand carved surface and a lot of aged patina on both sides. It is a true antique primitive artifact, not a reproduction. It measures 25” by 15” on the rim. The trencher is in excellent condition and is structurally strong! A few tight hairlines or cracks here and there as shown in the photo. Stable condition. Does not distract. The interior is dry and clean. Great even patina! Age appropriate surface wears and manufacturer imperfections are to be expected. Please check photos taken from all angles for detailed condition. Overall, this is an rare early American primitive item in excellent well preserved condition. It is a truly rare find that should not be passed by any serious collectors of early Americana/ American fork art/antique wood ware/primitive antiques. It is so roomy and strong that it would serve well as a centerpiece on your antique harvest table. Highly shipping cost due to unyielding large dimensions.
