Description: Offered is a single, vintage Bybee Pottery pitcher in mauve red glaze. The pitcher has an incised BB mark that exposes the clay within a pool of glaze underneath the otherwise unglazed bottom. It is approximately 6.25 inches tall and has an upper diameter of 4.5 inches. The diameter swells to a maximum of very approximately 6.75 inches. The pitcher sits on a base with a 4.75 inch diameter. The width from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle is about 8.75 inches. It easily holds 2 quarts of liquid. Excellent condition. No cracks, chips or breaks. A 2/3 of an inch imperfection on the bottom rim that appears to be a production flaw (pictured). It is not visible when the pitcher is sitting upright. Some extra clay inclusions in the glaze and a few tiny pinhead bubble pops in the glaze that expose the underlying clay.
