After being frustrated with the performance of various scanner antennas that I have purchased over the years, I decided to use my years of experience and love for scanners, to create the antenna that I wanted. I first created several concept antennas. I used identical scanners to compare signal strength. After many different styles and prototypes, I finally created what I had been searching for... the MAXX-TENNA antenna.
