Description: McCall's Magazine December 1964 Christmas Issue 11x14 Oversize Description There is some water damage in the upper corner of the issue, which has clearly dried out decades ago. None of the pages have been compromised, are not stuck to each other and turn as if they were never wet. This McCall magazine is an 11x14 Oversized issue that was very popular in the 50s-70s until they shrunk the magazine size to what is standart today. McCall's usually offered a lot of home centric articles, with book excerpts and celebrity features now and again. Most fascinating thing about these issues that range from the 50s to the early 70s are the fashions and the advertising. One of my elder friends decided to give up her cherished craft, painting and woodworking magazines. I acquired them and am now listing them for sale. She's kept pretty good care of them, a few pages of some of the magazines are dog-eared. I've straightened them all out and placed them tightly in magazine boxes, hoping that the sheer mass of the magazines will flatten them over time. They are generally in good to very good condition unless otherwise noted. Any patterns that were included with the publication are still attached IF pictured. There is some normal wear and tear from handling. Edges of the pages are starting to yellow. Interior still has original ad inserts. The edges of the magazine has a curl to it, as they've been stored in piles. Magazine cover has mailing label, I won't remove it for fear of ruining the cover. Please inspect the photo as what's photographed is what you'll receive and you can determine the condition of the magazine from the image. All magazines will be shipped one day after payment (if not sooner) and will be sent via Media Mail or First Class, whichever is cheaper.
