CONDITION: We are pleased to offer for sale a SCARCE Green Dot McKee Arches salt shaker. McKee had a full line of this hard to find pattern. McKee designed their kitchen glassware to be not only functional, but beautiful as well. Pieces of McKee's Green Dot decorated kitchenware are extremely hard to find and are in high demand. The time and effort spent to put this lovely pattern together is certainly worth the effort. This pretty arches shaker is in Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks or mold imperfections. The coloring is outstanding. The green dots are in good shape with some very minor scratching (we have taken great photos of every side to make sure you are getting exactly what you expect -- please check them out). The bottom is nice and clean. The outside top of the shaker under the lid has stains from the aluminum lid (unseen when the lid on.) We did not try to remove them. The inside is nice and clean without residue or sickness. The sharp edges have all been checked and have been found to be damage free. The lid has a couple of dents from age. These can be removed but we sell our items as they are found. The lid is aluminum so there is no rust (see both pictures of the lid). When placed under a 365 NM wavelength blacklight, this shaker does fluoresce. This lovely shaker has been a collection where it has been loved for the past 50 years. McKee Dots Decoration (French Ivory, White) ( Dots Decoration - Black, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow) (1930s - Early 1940s) - The McKee Glass Company made complete line kitchen glass with the Dots decoration. Both French Ivory and White Milk Glass pieces were used as a background for these pieces. Yellow Dots are mentioned in a McKee Price list, but if pieces with Yellow Dots exist they are rare. There were round canisters with glass lids, canisters with aluminum screw lids, measuring cups, leftover jars, spice shakers, salt and peppers, a butter dish, and mixing bowls in several different shapes.
