I had the speed eyelets on the shaft replaced with speed hooks by a professional cobbler. I also threw away the original insoles and replaced them with some custom-molded insoles (which I'm keeping since they wouldn't fit your feet anyway); I'll include some basic insoles. These boots are great and high quality, but, unfortunately, they don't fit me well. I wore them hiking in wet, muddy, rocky conditions, so they show signs of wear, but they are clean and intact.
