This poster was printed by a record company in England for promotional purposes to be pasted up around the streets or subways of the UK for outdoor advertising. These posters were not offered for sale to the public. Her first USA success came with the release of her 1988 debut album Short Sharp Shocked on college radio rotations around the country, which was met with strong acclaim from listeners. On the crest of this independent momentum, her 1989 album Captain Swing on Mercury Records was released. The poster is in at least very fine to mint condition, unused,and rolled.
