Description: Mid-Century Modern Double GOOSENECK LAMP with FIBERGLASS Shades WORKING Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE MID-CENTURY MODERN GOOSENECK LAMP Wonderful vintage mid-century modern double arm gooseneck desk or table lamp measuring about 18-1/2" tall (depending on how your adjust it - shades are 8" long). Featuring a painted metal, weighted base and brass adjustable arms, shades are fiberglass in a tan tone, brown cord is original, measures about 6-1/2 feet long and has the brass two-prong plug end with UL stamp. Complete with the brass switch, they work great as shown and can be posed in a variety of directions. (I would replace the bulbs as they get hot, but bulbs were in the lamp when purchased.) Lamp shades have no damage other than a hint of roughness to the edge from how the fiberglass was molded - adjustable brass arms have minor surface patination, and base paint is dull from age with a few spots - there is also a tiny dent on the back by the cord hole and a small dent on the front bottom edge. Please note - one arm wiggles a bit more within the base - I opened up the cover underneath and tried to adjust the nut, but am not strong enough to tighten it. It is a very minor issue and mentioned for accuracy. Just a wonderful vintage gooseneck lamp - screams mid-century - shades are awesome. Neat addition to any home or display!
