Description: Professionally built model of Leist and Baca Henry J. This is a detailed and nicely built model that has many scratch built components that add to the realism. The paint is bright red with PPG clear coat sprayed. The finish is very nice no runs, drips. As you can see the decals feature very opaque white areas that pop against the background paint. The chassis was heavily modified especially the front suspension. It’s important to achieve the proper stance and thought the high front would be typical of the gasser days. The engine has plug wires and gas lines plus I like Alclad chrome here as it looks more realistic. Things like tinted windows, push bar and parachute add to the way things were. In summary this is a very clean build that was well thought out. The front hood assembly tilts very smoothly and shuts tight. I know this will make a great addition to your drag racing collection, one I know you'll be proud of!
