Description: The locomotive and tender were assembled and finished by my Dad at least 25 years ago. He was a true craftsman and woodworker and built many beautiful things. He was also a major model train enthusiast and skilled model builder. He passed away 8 years ago and I would like to see this train find a good new home. He spent many hours on this project. Any help would be appreciated from those who might know the make / model. I do not have any knowledge at all about this subject. The model was displayed in a beautiful cabinet he also made. He had this and other engines behind glass on a short section of track. He had a control panel that would allow the selection of a locomotive (suspended slightly above the track by small wooden blocks he had attached to the underside) and make it "run" while remaining stationary. Some of the paint came off when I removed the wooden blocks.. I have not tried to run the train but rest assured it is in perfect condition mechanically. I cannot answer any questions, again, I do not even know the mfg. I can tell you that it is very high quality incredibly detailed as the picture show. I have no idea about value and am open to offers from those who know what a fair value might be.
