Groove SelectionMicro Drummer II has six groove styles (genres). Each genre contains 8 rhythm types. Select a style with the Rhythm Type switch.Slot 1: POP/ROCKSlot 2: FUNK/BLUESSlot 3: METAL/JAZZNext, turn the PATTERN knob to select the rhythm type. 4. SpeedThe drum machine speed can be set in two ways.1. Turn the EQ/SPEED knob to set the speed. 12 o'clock is 120 bpm. 40 to 260 bpm can be set.2. Press and hold the footswitch to activate the tap tempo function; the LED button will flash red. Press the footswitch three times to set the speed in tap tempo. The tap tempo function will automatically exit after 3 seconds, and the LED button will flash red and blue according to the set speed. 5. Additional Variations (FILL) Micro Drummer II contains 48 different rhythm grooves, each with its own individual variation (fill). Variations are not used during normal play. When the LED button is pressed while the drum machine is playing, the variation is played. When the variation is finished, the machine will return to the normal main rhythm. *Variations can be added at any time regardless of the beat or playback position of the drum machine. The play time of a variation depends on the timing at which it is added. For example, if a variation is added on the second beat of a 4/4 rhythm type, the main rhythm will have one beat and the variation will have three beats; if a variation is added after three beats, the variation will be added in the next measure. 6. EQ AdjustmentHold down the LED button and turn the EQ/SPEED knob to adjust the equalization of the drum machine.At the 12 o'clock position, the EQ is off.Turning the knob to the left cuts the low frequencies and makes it suitable for full-range devices (monitor speakers, etc.).Turning it to the right enhances the high frequency range, making it suitable for full-range devices and guitar amplifiers.The EQ settings are saved even when the pedal is turned off.
