Complete Instructions This listing is set as private - buyers to remain anonymous to other eBay users A special Kentucky blend of per-measured Cracked Corn, Oats, Barley, Molasses and one package Super Yeast. Just add water to the grain mixture, add the yeast and 5 pounds of white sugar or corn sugar, it works best and let it ferment. (The same corn mash can be used over again ( 3 to 4 runs, by adding more sugar and yeast.). YEAST variations Turbo Yeast The turbo will give the fastest fermenting and highest ABV product. Good for stripping runs or any product that is to be filtered. Red Star Premier Cuvee Clear Crisp Clean and dry. Very good to make Gin or a neutral grain spirit, such as vodka. Lavlin EC-1118 Typically used to ferment wines but works great for sugar shines with high starting ABV. It ferments well between 50 F and 86F and has a high alcohol tolerance of 18% . EC–1118 is also great to use when making a fruit wash. Bread Yeast The bread yeast tastes slightly sweeter than the others. Much more of the cane sugar and molasses flavors are present. Overall, this makes the most flavorful finished product in my opinion. The ABV of this is was on par with the other yeast This means that bread yeast manages to produce as much alcohol as the rest of the yeasts, but does so without stripping out as much of the natural mash flavors. -Add mash mix into a 5 gal bucket -Add 5 pounds of white sugar -Pour the bucket ½ full of boiling water -Stir until the all sugar is dissolved -Let stand for 90 min -Fill the 5 gallon bucket with cool water. Leave about 2 inches of space at top of bucket to give mash room to work. - Add Yeast to mash. - Install air lock and seal bucket with Lid. -Keep around 70 to 85 degrees, the warmer the temperature, the faster it will work. -Let it work for 2 to 5 days with super yeast 10 to 14 with other yeast. When it stops bubbling, It is ready -Filter off solids, a white pillow case works very well -Filter twice, Make sure it’s clean. Solids will burn the bottom of your pan. It is the low temp wood alcohol that is not safe to drink. -One bucket makes about 2 or 3 quarts 150-180 proof shine. Maybe more or less Depending on your set up and how fast or slow you run.
