Description: Morimura Brothers doll marked 4 and symbol for the Morimura Brothers as maker. This doll was made from 1915-1916. It has a composition replacement body. The doll is 13inches and has an open mouth with two teeth. Wig is replacement. It’s head is bisque and the Morimuro were Japanese but had a business in New York until WWII. I had a question about the replacement body. It is a modern composition body. Probably from the 1970’s -80’s.
