Hairline crack in the glaze on the back and some crazing (See last photo). Decals and gold laurel ring on the front of the plate look amazing. Beautiful plate!Charming vintage appeal Since I researched, I'll include in this listing: The French Saxon China Company was formerly Saxon China founded in 1911 and French China founded in 1916 both located in Sebring Ohio. These companies failed in 1932 due to the depression and the plant was purchased by Oliver Sebring in 1934 and opened as the French Saxon China Company. French Saxon China Company was also part of the National Brotherhood of Co-operative Potteries. The name changed in 1964 with the purchase of the Royal China Company. ( Information gathered from the Sebring Ohio Historical Society) I purchase a lot of Vintage and Antique Dinnerware from Estate Sales, auctions and local shops.
