Description: Murano Italian Art Glass Bowl Pulegoso Purple Spiral Gold Inclusions Vintage Description and Item Information Up for sale is this stunning, vintage Murano art glass bowl. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This bowl has tiny pulegoso bubbles with a plum-purple spiral on its interior. The rim is folded down in two places. This piece is approximately 2 1/2 inches tall; it is about 7 inches long and 6 1/2 inches wide. This heavy piece weighs 3 pounds 13.0 ounces, unpacked. It has a nicely finished base which is ground and polished, with central, round, polished pontil area. This dish would be a fine addition to a collection of vintage Italian art glass. Identification This unsigned bowl is vintage art glass from Murano, Italy. It may have been made by Barovier and Toso. It is circa mid-20th century, but the exact age is not known. Condition This piece looks very good overall, with light wear. There are no chips or cracks. The exterior has minor scuffs and scratches.
