Description: This is a taxidermy musk ox which includes pelt, head, hooves, horns, ears.The entire underside is lined with navy blue fabric. It has the appearance of a very plush pelt that can be laid out on a flat surface. It has head, hooves, horns, and ears. It is not "stuffed". It is not "faux". I obtained this from a Florida antiques dealer, who told me he bought it as a part of an estate. Note: the musk ox is NOT an endangered species. The antiques dealer believes this musk ox is from the 1940s or earlier, and from northern North America. This specimen is in very good/excellent condition, with only two flaws that I can find: there is some taxidermy material missing from the tip of the nose and around the left eye.
