Two of the neighbors spoke of how the turkey roosted in the tree limbsof their yard at nights and the children in the area named him, "Bob," said another neighbor.Another neighbor said the turkey was not bothered by their dog and boldly walked up to the doorstepor hang out by the side of the house at the basement window.Even though our small development is surrounded by open fields and wooded areas,"Bob" seemed content at making her home among the houses, streets, people and pets.Yes, it was determined that the markings of the bird said "Bob" was a female. Perhaps she washiding out from "Tom!" My painting shows the turkey along my garden path with pumpkins I had grownand the colorful fall foliage in the background. "O Lord, how manifold are Your works!
