I have noticed that the color of the peristome varies greatly depending on the amount of light it receives, the more intense the light, the darker the peristome. It will be shipped with sphagnum moss wrapped around its roots. If you are experiencing intense heat, please let me know to hold off shipping the plant until it cools down.
