One (1) N. rajah – assorted clones: BE-3152 SMALL This indisputably the iconic King of all Nepenthes, and many people will be familiar with it. The large peltate leaves produce enormous purple pitchers, which have been recorded to consume small mammals. History: First introduced in 2003. Origin: The four clones comprising this item originated from the microprop lab of Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in the late 1990’s. We have grown all four clones to maturity, and they all have identical appearance and are typical of the species. Source: A random selection from four different clones.Ships bareroot. You will need to provide your own pot and your own potting substrate when the plant arrives. Extra care will be needed as the pre-order plants will need to be acclimated slowly to your conditions. This means low light and high humidity initially. We recommend bagging them to keep the humidity high (unless you have a grow chamber/greenhouse). Filling the pitchers initially with water is also recommended.
