Description: This new slant on Batman is quite interesting and the computer animation is quite excellent. The episodes all have single-word titles which indicate a very thought-out and completely focused narrative. The voice cast is quite excellent. We're meeting all the bad guys for the "first time" thus offering freshness to the mythos. The role Alfred plays is quite interesting, quite unexpected from a proper British butler (unless we already know something about him!). This story line take place early on in Batman's career so we meet Lieutenant Gordon who will later (spoiler alert) become Commissioner. Batman isn't working with Robin yet but we do meet Gordon's daughter who's already demonstrating interesting talents. While each episode is a stand-alone story, many of them have interconnecting links that lead to an ongoing subplot that will inevitably lead to some of the most difficult confrontations of the younger Batman's fledgling career. These stories offer prophetic moments which die-hard Batman aficionados won't miss and will enjoy...
