This Southwest Speed 13 Piece Reproduction weld-on frame rail, boxing plate kit, 1" drop front crossmember, and front & rear spreader bars are ideal for anyone replacing all of the old & rusted frame rails & boxing plates, front crossmember, & front & rear spreader bars or building new frame rails from scratch and wanting that lowered Lo Boy look on a classic 1932 Ford Model A. This complete set of 8 frame boxing plates includes two front frame horn boxing plates, two front frame boxing plates, two center frame boxing plates, and two rear frame boxing plates, which will completely build two frame rails. We have included a detailed diagram in the picture below to show how the boxing plates are placed on the frame rails, and have also included a detailed diagram of the frame rails. The frame rails are built from 11 gauge stamped steel, and the boxing plates are fabricated from heavy 10 gauge steel, and are .115" thick for added frame support. Engineered to the original Ford specifications while showing high attention to detail. The front frame horn boxing plates will only fit V-style front cross bars, & the rear boxing plates feature an 2" O.D. hole for mounting a 2" O.D. rear crossmember. The boxing plates weld to the frame rails of an original or reproduction chassis. The front crossmember lowers your classic Ford by 1" for that Lo Boy look, and is fabricated from heavy 7-gauge steel while still having clearance for the 1 3/4" cross spring, and engineered to the original Ford specifications.
