Description: Brand New Whip. The backstory on this board was that it was signed by Kelly Slater at a charity event for Ric O'Barry called 'A Night for the Dolphins'. Kelly Slater's autograph must have been done with a Sharpie and it has just disappeared for some reason. The fist photo shows what the signature originally looked like and the second photo shows how there is no sign of the signature any longer. The board was always stored in a room without direct sunlight so all I can determine is, the Sharpie ink just 'evaporates' over time. Otherwise the board itself is in Perfect condition and the price reflect what the board is worth regardless of the backstory. This is another Merrick/Slater board that is almost impossible to find brand new.
