Description: Brand NEW in box. Rare genuine TEVA sports sandals in Mens thong style with adjustable padded forefoot strap using quick release buckle, Shoc Pad heel cushioning, and neoprene padded ankle and heel straps. Major Brown color, with original box. This is a rare discontinued style called "The Original" from around 2009, originally designed as part of the Teva Pro line of sandals. This was a more sporty reincarnation of the original 1980's Teva thong ankle-strap sandals. These have the Spider Rubber outsole for better grip than their standard rubber soles, and has a thick EVA closed foam cell cushioning similar to current performance line of Teva sandals. This auction is for Mens size 10, although they run large and would be best for someone who normally wears a Mens size 10 to 11 shoe. The upper footbed measures about 11.2" from heel to tip of toe (see photo with the ruler for reference). Discontinued mens style, impossible to find new anywhere. The rubber outsole has gotten stiffer due to age and may have or get stress crackling, but doesn't affect the cushioning of the dense foam midsole. I still have my first pair that have been resoled by a shoe repair shop a couple times but the midsoles and straps are still great after all these years. We are downsizing our house and just clearing out space of unused items, so here's a perfect chance to add these to your Teva sandal collection. It's unlikely they'll ever make a style like this again. I will not accept returns for whatever reason including sizing, since I have no ability to sanitize them afterward to hygiene issues.
