Description: For sale is one new, blemished/2ND*: Montblanc Heritage Collection Rouge et Noir Serpent Marble Fountain Pen, 14K F Nib, Coral/Black, MPN 119851 / model M25767; made in Germany. Complete with Service Guide, Gift-Case, and Outer Box. *Condition Note: This pen has a manufacturing blemish on the section. There is a faint indentation measuring about 1mm in length that appears to be either a casting imperfection or tooling mark. The effect is very subtle and did sneak by Montblanc's initial inspection. Such small irregularities are not entirely uncommon but deserve mentioning when noticed. Pen is otherwise flawless and has never been inked or carried. While less collectible than a perfect example, it would make a fine option for anyone who intends to put this instrument to good use. All images are of the actual pen for sale, with the exception of the packaging. The Rouge et Noir collection celebrates a 110-year-old pioneering tradition with vintage design that is distinctively Montblanc. A redesign inspired by the "Red Ripple" hard-rubber pen of the 1920s, the Serpent Marble fountain pen features a coral precious-resin cap and lacquered-metal barrel finished with a swirling marble optic. The serpent clip coils around the cap and has an aged finish. Fine nib is rhodium-coated 14K gold with serpent head design.
