Description: For sale is a pair of old Chinese carved soapstone foo dog or shi-shi figures. They are 4 to 4 ¼ inches tall and about 2 ½ inches wide. One is more brown in color, while the smaller one in the right is greenish. They are both nicely carved and roughly mirror images of each other. They are marked with four incised lines on the bases. Condition on the figures is fairly good. They are several tiny chips, scuffs and scratches but no real damage. Some nice old carvings.
