Description: 6" Work Chelsea in 1964 Black leather. Composite Safety Toes. Vibram 430 "Mini-Lug" soles (good traction without picking up rocks). "Nicks HNW" Last and heel look like an Army Boot instead of a Logger Boot. I bought these new and wore them occasionally from March 2024 until now (6 months). They have scuffs and rubs from kneeling and changing oil, etc. but no cuts or damage. All stitching is good. Soles are barely worn and still have 90% of the stitching. I wore them mostly for driving/job meetings/general knock-around. NO BAD SMELLS... they just smell like leather. Include new leather insoles (Nicks). *SIZING - with insoles they fit true to size.Nicks advises to buy a 1/2 size smaller than your normal size but I disagree (for safety-toe). I normally wear a size 12D in safety-toe boots and these fit me well with Nicks' insoles (included). *CHELSEA BOOTS- These don't have any ankle support, so they will be good for warehouse/casual work wear. If you work on ladders or rocky terrain I'd recommend a lace-up boot. The leather midsoles have lost some of their dye... this always happens if you wear these for work. I have never dyed them...
