Yesterday’s design with today’s tech The exterior of the Nikon Z fc was inspired by the classic FM2 SLR film camera that was first introduced back in 1982. The body has been constructed from magnesium alloy for durability and lightness and boasts authentic FM2 design details that have been meticulously re-created, including the control dials, the round viewfinder and the classic Nikon logo that has been engraved on the pentaprism. The top of the body features 3 dials for controlling shutter speed, exposure compensation and ISO sensitivity, for simple operation while the i button and i menu allow users to quickly adjust a variety of settings with the press of a button.
