Description: This is a used Niron / Nupi 00SMARTWELD/115 ElectroFusion Polypropylene Pipe Welding system. These are commonly used for specialized welding of electrofusion fittings used on piping and more. According to the manufacturer, it can be used on pipes from 1/2" to 16" in diameter and all types of saddles.This listing is only for the unit as pictured, there are some small adapters included with it but nothing more. It includes the handheld barcode scanner that's used to scan in the fittings that you are welding, the rubber insulation on the barcode reader has dried and cracked in some places although none of the conductors are showing (there's a strong shield around the entire cable. I did place some electric tape on the barcode reader cable to keep it from cracking further.The unit operates off of standard US household electricity (110-120vac). It powers on, beeps and goes into the main menu where a note on the screen says "maintenance required". I'm not an expert on these so no idea what that means, so selling the unit as it is for parts. I don't have any further history on the unit, it was obtained from a government auction.The unit is HEAVY weighing just over 50-pounds.
