Description: This 12.5" long ice cream server or slice weighs 166 grams. The hollow handle is 5" and the blade 7.5", and the piece is all silver. Baronial Old or Old Baronial by Gorham features a handle topped by a fanged creature, with scrolled, shell and fruit decoration as well. The front side of the server has a decorated shoulder at the top of the blade into the handle; the bottom side, or the hallmarked side, does not have this embellishment. The bottom side blade is marked with the Gorham hallmarks and sterling. This is a rare piece, but also has issues, which I have considered in pricing this item.
