Description: A vintage/antique handmade Navajo sterling silver ring with bezel set green turquoise stone and rope and beadball accents. It is sized 7-7.25 and weighs 5.3 grams. The face is 3/4"5/8" and the band is 1/16" in back. This is a very old ring (pre 1950s I think). It looks like it was cleaned a long time ago but it still has a ton of character and patina. It was definitely worn. The triple split shank band has a very cool beadball and rope detail. Other than the exceptional character the star of the show is definitely the stone. It has a shiny finish with a base color of a rich deep green with lots of interesting browns running through it. There is an old crack that is not loose in any way. This is an truly fine example of early Navajo work. See pics for condition. Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions or input. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day. Edited to add....I had this stone looked at and consensus was it is turquoise so I am changing the listing to reflect that. Feel free to send an email if you have any questions. Thanks.
