Description: Beautiful antique blood letting fleam made in Sheffield England in the 1800s. This fleam features stunning horn handle scales! They are in good condition with only one tight pin crack. There is a small bug bite on the side of the back scale but it isn’t detracting. The horn is really nice on this example! It also features a gorgeous “Birdseye” pin which is a sign of an early knife! The blades are carbon steel and have a nice mild patina. The blades are in good shape! The spine of the fleam is brass with a nice patina. Overall a very nice antique fleam for blood letting!!
