Olympus Trip 35 Lens Cap & Keeper Cord - Protect your Selenium Cell & Optics

Description: For sale is this replacement lens cap for the Olympus Trip 35. The original slip on cap tends to slip off so are often lost but this one is the pinch type which grips into the filter thread and has a keeper cord so that you never loose it. The cord simply feeds through one of the strap lugs. This thinner cap allows storage of your camera in the original Olympus case, some thicker pinch caps will restrict you from zipping the case. I've repaired and serviced hundreds of Trip 35's over the years and can't emphasise how important it is to protect the selenium cell and auto exposure meter. It will also protect the front glass lens element and filter ring. This is the best fitting cap I've been able to source and it works best when the focal movement is set to infinity.
