The material is a rugged muslin cotton type that is tough, hard to tear but not too heavy. Weighs about 7 lbs. unboxed. Material has a natural wrinkle to it for effect. This was made by Omni Photographic Mfg. Co in Alabama. I don't think they are in business any longer.
