This is for a 3D printed On18 scale narrow gauge steam tank locomotive kit #1. Oxide red body, roof, buffers and chassis adapter frame. Brand new. This version has a long saddle tank that covers both the boiler and smoke box and has a rear-of-cab mounted coal bin. Parts usually need a little light sanding and/or filing in spots. Just prime and paint as you wish. You can choose ONE of two options of chassis kits to be included with your loco shell and roof, either the kit for the Bachmann N scale Thomas chassis OR the kit for the Kato 11-109/110 chassis. PLEASE INDICATE whether you want the chassis kit for the Bachmann N scale Thomas or the Kato 11-109/110 via the order "Notes" or by sending me a message thru eBay. This sale includes one kit or the other of your choice. Both kits are NOT included. On18 is 1:48 O scale that runs on N scale track which, in 1:48, is 18" narrow gauge track. This is NOT the same as On30 or HOn30. 18" narrow gauge was mainly used in industrial settings, mining, etc Designed to drop onto either the Bachmann N scale Thomas powered chassis OR the Kato 11-109/11-110 chassis ensures that this will be a smooth and reliable runner. It could be adapted to use other similar N scale mechanisms as well. DOES NOT include the Bachmann Thomas or Kato chassis. Option #1: BACHMANN N SCALE THOMAS Kit includes the loco shell with roof, Thomas chassis adapter frame, and 2x buffer beams, 1x oil tank insert. Buffers are easily glued to the ends of the adapter frame. For couplers- glue or drill/screw Micro Trains #2004 underslung couplers with draft boxes in place on front and rear of adapter frame. We recommend using the pre-assembled MT#2004s. You can use other couplers with some modifications. Option #2: KATO 11-109/11-110 Kit includes the loco shell with roof, 2x buffer beams, 2x side skirts, 1x oil tank insert. Buffers and skirts are easily glued to the 11-109 chassis (see pic of similar chassis...preferred method) or they can be glued to the bottom of the loco shell. Snap the shell onto the chassis before gluing the buffers and skirts in place. A cool feature of using the Kato chassis...if the buffers and skirts are glued to the 11-109 chassis (as in the pic), you can actually (carefully) swap the shells with any of our On18 steamer shells whenever you want.
