Description: On30 Box Cab scratch built from a kit. Motive power is a Model Power DDT Plymouth switcher engine with DCC & SOUND. O scale, runs on HO scale track. One of my personal locos. Recently tested. Runs forward & reverse. Lights and sound work. Loco features two sliding doors. Rear coupler only. Roof is removable. As Model Power typically uses MRC decoders, this appears to NOT be a dual mode decoder. To operate, you first place the loco on the track and then apply power. I have run this engine with an MRC Prodigy DCC system and as such I have not adjusted any of the CVs. While to my hearing the bell sounds good, the horn sound is likely not prototypical for a loco of this type & size. As for the diesel engine sound....well it is there. Someone with a DCC system better than my crippled MRC starter system could likely make the necessary CV changes to suit their liking. No box included, but loco will be well packed for shipping. Also, these DDT Plymouth locos from Model Power tend to be "wobblers" as they move down the track. This one is no exception. Some gauging of the wheels might correct this.
