The pictures shows a single strand and a group of two, then three hanging together.The 1" to 2" long peppers are strung on cord with a loop to hang. The twine at the top is for deco. Youcould add raffia or items of your choice. They look great hanging in a kitchen. These are good strings for crafting .I made a garland for Christmas too. These are the real Japones. Not mass sold "red chile peppers". Japones chiles, Capsicum annuum, are popular in Caribbean and Latin American cuisine. Pronounced "ja pon aaas". These are found in Asian , India and Korean Markets. A small, pointed chile that is about 1 1/2” to 2" long and ½” wide, japones are thicker and meatier. They’re also known as hontaka, santaka, Oriental chile peppers or Chinese chiles. Considered a hot chile, the japones chile comes in at between 15,000 and 30,000 SHU (Scoville Heat Units). These chiles have a distinctive flavor. Not just plain mouth heat. These are CLEAN and de stemmed Fresh - EDIBLE- These strings of Japones are also available by special order. If you need a large amount of these you can message me .
