Description: This listing is for one (1) Dinner Plate with the "Ancestral" pattern made by the Minton company. The Minton company was founded in 1793 in England. An iconic British ceramics manufacturer whose wares have graced the tables of nobility and are coveted by collectors worldwide. This was the company's popular and signature pattern. Each plate is round with a scalloped edge trimmed in gold. It has maroon and teal hand painted raised flowers on a floral transfer background. There is also a swirl pattern on the edge and a depression in the center of the plate. The wreath back stamp that says, "Ancestral S- 376, Founded Minton 1703 Bone China, Made in England" is from between 1951 and 1991. The globe back stamp that says, "Mintons, Est. 1793, Ancestral, Made in England" dates from between 1912 and 1950.
