Created in the late 1940s from an original 1940s Official U.S. Navy Photo. The negative was created to make EKC Real Photo Postcards. I have three sheet-film boxes full of these WWII images taken from original photos. Some of these images are well-known while other images are rare. You'll find some of these images already exist online - but the contrast & detail is usually less impressive than what's captured in these negatives...and, of course, these negatives are not digitized or pixelated ~ making them excellent for reproduction.
